CCW Cursive Font 2
This version of our cursive writing font has a curly style x and z. If you prefer a
straight style for these letters, you will need CCW Cursive Font 1. All of
the letters in this font start on the line with entry strokes and the descenders loop ready to join to the
next letter.
Please note that the fonts on this page are not designed to join. They are intended for use at
the separate letters stage of learning to write. Click here for my joined up
handwriting packages.
CCW Cursive 2 font is available in five different styles: standard, dotted, arrow, outline and lined (with
handwriting letter height guidelines). You can buy any style on its own or you can save more than 50% by
getting a pack of all five of the CCW Cursive 2 font styles shown on this page.
With these fonts installed on your PC you will be able to create your own worksheets and display
labels in your school's cursive handwriting style. Children can use them to type out words or sentences using
a word processor then print to create their own handwriting worksheets.
Standard style

The standard style font is ideal for children to produce their own word-processed text or for parents and
teachers to use for labels and display.

Dotted style

With this dotted style font you can produce handwriting worksheets for children to trace over. Teachers can
produce customised handwriting sheets on a relevant topic or focus on specific letters the child is struggling
with. Alternatively, children can create their own handwriting worksheets by typing in this font. Numbers,
accented characters and punctuation marks are also dotted. A large point size (28pt or more) is
recommended.

Arrow style

The arrow style font is ideal for beginners as each letter has a circle and arrow to show the starting position.
A triangle is used to show where the pencil direction reverses, and a square indicates where the pencil should
be lifted off the paper. Use a large point size (60pt or more) with this font for best results.

Lined style

The Cursive 2 lined font style enables you to create handwriting worksheets which focus attention on the
position and size of each letter. Letters are dotted for tracing, with accented letters, numbers etc. all
included.

Outline style

The Cursive Outline font is effective when printed at large sizes for colouring, tracing, classroom displays and
labels. It can be used as an alternative to the dotted fonts to make handwriting worksheets for children to trace
over.
