CCW Cursive Font 4
This version of our cursive writing font has a letter f without a top loop. The z has
no tail, and the x is formed with straight strokes. All of the letters in this font start on the line with
entry strokes and the descenders loop ready to join to the next letter.
Please note that the fonts on this page are not designed to join. They are intended for use at
the separate letters stage of learning to write. Click here for my joined up
handwriting packages.
CCW Cursive 4 comes in five different styles: standard, dotted, arrow, outline and lined (with handwriting
letter height guidelines). You can buy any style on its own or you can save more than 50% by getting a pack of all
five of the CCW Cursive 4 font styles shown further down this page.
Once you have installed these fonts on your PC, you will be able to access them in your usual word processor,
e.g. Microsoft Word, to easily produce text for display. You will also be able to make your own handwriting
worksheets using your school's preferred style. Children will enjoy typing their own work in the style of
handwriting which they are learning.
Standard style

The standard style can be used to create text in your school's handwriting style using your word processor.
Print in different colours to create special effects for displays. You could also print in gray for children to
trace over.

Dotted style

The dotted style font makes it easy to create your own handwriting worksheets for children to trace over. Using
your word processor you can start with a large font size, then gradually reduce it as accuracy improves.

Arrow style

The arrow style font is useful for beginners as it shows the starting position for each letter with a circle and
arrow. A triangle illustrates where the pencil direction is reversed, and a square shows where to lift your pencil
off the paper. This font should be used at very large sizes so that the symbols are clear.

Lined style

This lined font has handwriting guidelines to help with the size and position of letters.

Outline style

Use the outline font to produce large letters for colouring and tracing. It's also useful for display
lettering.
